1. What does this app do?

This app turns your Android phone or tablet into a complete FTP server. You can use it to transfer files, photos, videos, music, and other data between your Android device and a computer using an FTP client such as FileZilla.

2. How do I transfer files using this app?

1. Start the FTP Server on your Android device.

2. Open an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla) on your computer.

3. Enter your device’s FTP address (shown in the app).

4. Connect to your device and transfer files between both systems.

You can also access the FTP server directly from Windows File Explorer by typing the FTP address in the address bar.

3. Does it support secure file transfers?

Yes. The app supports FTPS (FTP over TLS/SSL) for encrypted file transfers.

⚠️ When using FTPS, make sure to use ftps:// instead of ftp:// in your client.

4. What is the difference between FTPS and SFTP?

• FTPS = FTP over TLS/SSL (supported by the app).

• SFTP = SSH File Transfer Protocol (not yet supported).

SFTP support will be added in a future update.

5. What port number should I use?

The default port number is 2221, and it can be changed in the app’s settings.

Note: On non-rooted phones, ports below 1024 (like port 21) cannot be used.

6. Can I enable anonymous access?

Yes, anonymous access can be enabled in the Settings screen.
For security reasons, it is disabled by default.

7. Does the app work without a USB cable?

Yes! The app allows wireless file transfers over Wi-Fi — no cables required.
You can also use it in Wi-Fi tethering (Hotspot) mode.
